How do you use it?
Put the cooling bowl in the freezer overnight! Get your ingredients ready, plug the unit in and turn it on. Add your ingredients in through the chutes on each side of the lid. Simply let it churn and you will have your delicious ice cream ready in no time.
Is it noisy?
The unit will make some noise as it churns your ingredients, however if you find that your machine is making excessive noise and you are concerned, please contact us and we can check this out for you!
How long will the ice cream keep in the freezer?
Home-made ice cream is different as it doesn't contain all the normal preservatives like you get in store bought ice cream.
It is best to eat it as soon as possible, however if you don't want to eat it all right away it will be good for about 2 months, ensuring you have stored it correctly.
How do I store my left over ice cream?
Keep in an air tight container and keep it at the back of the freezer for the most consistent temperature. A great practice to prolong the life of your ice cream and also prevent crystallisation is to place a piece of cling wrap over the surface of the ice cream, and press it down with your hands gently.
Do you have a sugar free option?
You can replace ingredients with sugar substitutes if you don’t want to use sugar, or you can leave it out entirely. Most ice cream recipes don’t necessarily rely on the addition of sugar for their consistency so adjust sugar to taste if you like!
How long does it take in the churner until the ice cream is ready?
Between 15-25 mins depending on volume and your preferred consistency!
How to clean the bowl?
Hand-wash with warm soapy water. Ensure that once you clean the bowl that you dry completely before refreezing!
What is the warranty?
The warranty for the Swift Mix Ice Cream maker is 1 year. Kindly note that damage by force is not covered under warranty.
